…And

17 more wakeups until school is out!  And then I’ll probably be training…and teaching for two more weeks…and working at the Chicken & Egg Festival…and going to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department Convention…and Jesi’s ballgames…and Non-Traditional Class for three weeks…and professional development workshops…and getting ready for the Fair Pageant…and when does school start again?

I really shouldn’t complain; I do it to myself.  Always have.

I am a Special Character

Apparently my mother didn’t think about the fact that computer programmers/web developers are lazy when she named me.  About 80% of the time, when I try to type in my full name for a display name on a web site, I get the error message, “Display names cannot include spaces or special characters.”  This is really frustrating to me because my name is Brie’Anne, not BrieAnne or Brieanne or even Brie.

I am not sure why my password must contain special characters or numbers but my display name cannot.  There must be a reason that I am not allowed to put an apostrophe in a web form other than the laziness of the programmer/developer.  If anyone knows and can explain it to me, I am willing to listen to reason, otherwise, I will continue to blame it on laziness.
